Dr. Badrul Kahn, Ph.D.

Badrul H. Khan, Ph.D., is an international speaker, author, educator and consultant in the field of e learning and educational technology. Dr. Khan authored the following books: Web Based Instruction (1997), Web Based Training (2001), E Learning QUICK Checklist (2005), Managing E Learning (2005), and Flexible Learning in an Information Society (2006). He authored over 100 papers and delivered invited and keynote addresses in more than 40 international Learning conferences. His work addressing current and emerging technologies that revolutionize the way we learn and conduct training in open and distributed environments across diverse populations of learners has established him as a visionary in the field of e-learning.




Trudy Mandeville, Tech-Comm Partners

As an RN and Instructional Designer, Trudy Mandeville has over thirty years experience creating innovative health education programs and designing online continuing education programs for health care professionals. Trudy has spent the last ten years using her design and development experience to study the application of effective, research-based online techniques that provide her clients with optimal learning opportunities.

Trudy Mandeville is a graduate of Salve Regina University with a BS in Nursing and received an MBA in Management from Bryant University. For nearly a decade, she served as adjunct faculty at both Bryant University and the Community College of RI. She is a member of ASTD, the E-Learning Guild and serves as a community business advisor for a high school career academy.




Dr. Dave Knowlton, Ph.D.

Dr. Dave S. Knowlton, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Design and Learning Technologies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He is the author of over 25 scholarly articles in the areas of e-learning and designing online learning environments. He is also co-editor of the book Principles of Effective Teaching in the Online Classroom (2000, Jossey-Bass Publishing).
