All Evolve Reach - Powered by HESI exams must be given in a proctored environment to ensure that the reliability and validity of each test item is secured. Elsevier and HESI understand that you require testing because you rely on the results of each exam to provide accurate diagnostic results about your students' level of preparedness for the NCLEX examination. Without test item security, it would be impossible for any testing company to guarantee the reliability and validity of test items and exam results.

OPTION 1 - Test Administration via Online Delivery
Evolve Reach - Powered by HESI can provide secured, online exams through the iNet website. Students go directly to http://hesiinet.com, enter their Access Code and Student ID in order to take the exam in a secure browser. This secure browser maintains test item security, as the student will not be able to access any other computer program during testing. This is a unique option, and ensures that your student results are the true measure of their understanding and application of content. There is no set up required to launch the secure browser utilized in online test delivery.

Summary analysis reports for the entire class or testing session can be made available immediately, providing results as quickly as possible to allow students to begin reviewing their rationales and remediation instantly. If you are testing your student population over a number of days, it is also possible to delay the results reporting until the entire student group has been tested. This is just another measure of flexibility offered through Evolve Reach - Powered by HESI.

OPTION 2 - Test Administration via Network Delivery
Evolve Reach - Powered by HESI exams can also be administered through your school's network, which requires testing software to be installed on one computer on your network. Exam files are downloaded to that specific computer, allowing students to connect to that computer from their individual computers in a lab. Once all students have completed the exam, their exam data must be uploaded to Evolve Reach using the testing software. This allows for the creation of your student aggregates Summary Analysis Report.

Students receive their results reporting immediately after completing the exam, allowing them to view rationales for the test items answered incorrectly.

Does the exam have to be proctored?
Yes, the use of a proctor in exam administration is required through the Faculty User Agreement .

Do all of our students need to take the exam at the same time?
In order to prevent discussion among students that have taken the exam and those that have yet to complete the exam, it is recommended that all students complete the exam in as short a time-frame as possible. However, we understand that the computer availability varies widely by institution, and it is not required that students take the exam at the same time.
