Diagnostic Gynecologic and Obstetric Pathology is a multi-authored text, largely written by the pathology and clinical faculty at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital, with a strong focus on practical, problem-oriented approaches to the pathology of female genital tract disorders. The goal of the text is to provide a comprehensive review of gynecologic and gestational pathology. Crum covers both neoplastic and non-neoplastic disorders as part of an approach that is geared toward helping the everyday pathologist effectively manage the differential diagnosis of both common and more unusual disorders. To assist readers from different backgrounds, the approach to most of the topics is practice-oriented, each beginning with a discussion of the patient at risk and ending with management.
