Linda Silvestri

PhD, RN, FAAN

Linda Silvestri, the most trusted name in NCLEX® review, is the author of what’s often called the ‘best NCLEX exam review book ever,’ Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN® Examination. She has a diploma in nursing from Cooley Dickinson Hospital School of Nursing, associate degree from Holyoke Community College, BSN from American International College, and MSN from Anna Maria College. She earned a PhD in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and conducted research on self-efficacy and the predictors of NCLEX success. She says her desire to author NCLEX review textbooks stems from her own difficulties as a nursing student in studying and preparing for nursing exams.

“The NGN is really important for health care overall because we need nurses who are able to make quick and sound clinical judgments when such situations arise in the clinical area or elsewhere.”
