Josh McGaughey is a Senior Testing Manager for Health Professions and has worked for Elsevier since 2006 as an assessment professional. He first began his journey as an independent contractor crafting test items, managing item banks and teams of item writers.
In 2011, Josh began overseeing the entire Health Professions portfolio for HESI, which includes fourteen disciplines. As a Testing Manager for Health Professions, he is charged with generating content, editing test items, performing basic psychometrics, and product management functions. Josh has contributed to the creation and maintenance of over 50 assessments in various Health Profession disciplines.
Additionally, Josh has worked as a paramedic near St. Louis Missouri since 2004. He is a certified Critical Care Paramedic. Josh has a Bachelors in Corporate Communications and Masters in Leadership both from Lindenwood University.
