Kristin Ruiz is the Practical Nursing Program Director at Southeast Community College, Beatrice Campus. She brings over 40 years of nursing experience and 30 years of nursing education experience to her role. She is a member of the National League for Nursing and is a member of the General Education committee at her institution.
In 2019 she was selected to serve as the PN educator representative on the Nebraska State Board of Nursing and is a member of the Education Committee. She is responsible for reviewing curriculum for PN and RN programs in the state of Nebraska. In 2020 she was appointed Chairperson of the Education Committee.
