Mardie is a nursing education specialist at Elsevier with a passion for increasing faculty and student success. As a lifelong learner, she strives to empower others to use evidence-based practice in every facet of nursing education. As an education specialist, she ensures successful product integration including promoting best practices, answering questions and providing expert information. A special interest of Mardie’s is the Next Generation NCLEX and how to best increase clinical judgment in our nursing student learners.
Prior to her current role, she taught nursing for over 10 years and worked extensively with nursing faculty in leadership roles. She has worked in healthcare as a critical care nurse, school nurse, as a nurse educator in a pulmonary clinic as well as in the insurance industry.
