Dr. Davis is a Nurse Educator with the Education, Research, and Design team for Shadow Health® at Elsevier. She has experience managing live and virtual simulation in both undergraduate and graduate nursing programs. Dr. Davis has a passion for creating educational experiences that promote clinical reasoning, critical thinking, and the application of therapeutic communication. Amanda has a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nursing Science, Masters degree in Nursing (Family), Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
