James is the Director of Instructional Design at Herzing University, where he provides leadership and oversight to the nursing education programs’ course design processes.
His expertise in effectively utilizing digital learning solutions, paired with over 25 years of experience in higher education, helps nursing faculty enhance learning for students at Herzing for online and in-person courses. During his time at Herzing, he’s also developed several complete programs using adaptive learning.
Not only does James have an interest in virtual reality (VR) as an innovative learning medium, but he has previously worked with NASA developers to design a course for VR production and technology, and worked in the simulation division of British Aerospace for the Department of Defense. James has authored numerous books and papers on topics on educational technology and its benefits to the classroom.
