Susy Sportsman is a well-known and highly sought-after consultant with a rare mix of educational, clinical, and business expertise. As Managing Director of Collaborative Momentum Consulting, she helps nurse educators provide a superior educational experience for students and produce the best outcomes possible.

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Sportsman has been in pursuit of excellence in education for health professionals. She inspires educators to think creatively about new strategies to prepare students for practice, and has held faculty and administration positions at a number of Texas-based universities, including serving as Dean of the College of Health Sciences and Human Services at Midwestern State University.

Dr. Sportsman is also an author and Co-Principal Investigator of the Academic Progression in Nursing Grant awarded to the Texas Team Advancing Health Through Nursing Education Committee by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Before entering academia, Dr. Sportsman worked as a clinician and administrator in several prominent healthcare organizations.
