Many schools of nursing are working to map their current curriculum to competency-based education and assessment as well as the AACN Essentials to recognize strengths within the program and identify deficits that will need to be addressed. The process requires faculty to think differently about curriculum mapping, moving away from mapping what they teach, which is teacher-centered, and instead, using a student-centered approach to mapping what students actually do with what they learn. This webinar will provide suggestions for approaching this work in a manageable and objective way and demonstrate each step of the process. Time for questions will be provided.
