An Inside Look at Concept-based Curriculum in Nursing Education

Dr. Amy Hall, PhD, RN, CNE, is a Professor of Nursing and the Dean of the School of Nursing at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her expertise lays in curriculum design, program evaluation, and nursing leadership. Additionally, she works as a consultant for other nursing programs in designing and implementing curricular change and designing effective program assessment and evaluation plans. Dr. Hall has also co-authored nursing fundamentals textbooks. She has been involved with ACEN since 2008, serving various roles including site visitor, team chair, ERP member, and chair for the 2017 ACEN Standards Revision Subcommittee for baccalaureate and higher programs.
